My comments on buildings, shops, restaurants that catch my eye as I wander around New York City and other places.

Central Park! Thanks for the wonderful blog, very informative.
I think 125th Street would be a great walk.
hi, i found your blog through mouthfuls and really enjoy it. i have lived on 122nd for the past year and recommend 125th for an interesting walk. there is the former theresa hotel at adam clayton powell, a former resident was ray charles. the m&g diner at the corner of amsterdam? i think? with a great neon sign. the
obvious but newly renovated apollo theater and lenox lounge visible from 125th and lenox...also great neon. the eastern half has a nice old fire station that is empty! my husband and i always dream of buying and living in such a building. there is also a seedy and interesting sign off the corner of i think lexington down from the south west corner that reads "turkish baths men only" wow. if those walls could talk...or maybe not? enjoy your walking and thanks again.
